| What you need | Where to write |
|---|---|
| General help, bugs, feature requests | [email protected] |
| Privacy questions, data access, deletion requests | [email protected] |
We aim to reply within a few business days. When reporting a problem, it helps a lot if you include your flight number and date, your app version (Profile, then About), and your device model.
Subscriptions are billed by the app store, so they are cancelled in your device settings, not in Flight Owl. On iPhone: open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, choose Flight Owl, then tap Cancel Subscription. Your premium features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for.
Open the paywall in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". This re-checks your store account for an active subscription. If it still does not appear, make sure you are signed in to the same account that made the purchase, then write to us.
Refunds are handled by the app store that billed you, not by us. For a purchase made through Apple, use Apple's Report a Problem page and sign in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
In the app: Profile, then Account, then Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, tracked flights, and journal entries. Cancel any active subscription first, because deleting your account does not cancel store billing.
Full instructions, including how to request deletion by email if you no longer have the app, are on our account deletion page.
Ask us and we will send you a JSON file with everything we hold about you, within 30 days. If you have signed in, email [email protected] from your account address. If you use Flight Owl without signing in, send the request from Profile, then Feedback, in the app, which tells us which anonymous account is yours.
Check three things, in this order. First, iOS Settings, then Flight Owl, then Notifications, and confirm they are allowed. Second, in the app under Profile, then Notifications, confirm the specific alert types are switched on, because they are all off by default. Third, confirm the flight is actually being tracked and has not already landed.
Coverage is strongest in Europe and thinner for small regional airports and some charter operators. Try searching by flight number rather than route, and check the date, since a late-evening departure may be filed under the following day in your time zone. If it is a flight you would expect us to have, tell us and we will look at the coverage gap.
They are statistical estimates, not guarantees. The app shows you the reasoning behind each one, such as a late inbound aircraft, weather at the arrival airport, or recent performance on that route. Always treat your airline as the final word on your flight.
EU261 is the European air passenger rights regulation. When it applies, a long delay or a cancellation can entitle you to compensation of up to 600 euro. The app tells you when your flight looks eligible and what to do next. We do not process claims ourselves and we are not able to give you legal advice on your specific case.
